1Jo 1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1Jo 2:3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands.
1Jo 2:6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.
1Jo 2:17 The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
1Jo 2:23 No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
1Jo 2:25 And this is what he promised us–even eternal life.
1Jo 3:5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
1Jo 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
1Jo 4:7-8 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1Jo 4:19 We love because he first loved us.
1Jo 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
1Jo 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
1Jo 5:14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
2Jo 1:6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
2Jo 1:7 Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.
2Jo 1:9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
3Jo 1:3 It gave me great joy to have some brothers come and tell about your faithfulness to the truth and how you continue to walk in the truth.
3Jo 1:11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
